Panoramic Horizon: A Minimalist Retreat in the Heart of Gerês

The project is located in Louredo, Gerês, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Cávado River and the Peneda-Gerês National Park. The house is set on a plateau, and the floor extends into the landscape, creating a seamless connection between the built environment and the terrain.

At the client's request, the design features a single-floor layout with horizontal lines and a simple, minimalist plan. A key element is the infinity pool, which extends towards the landscape, further enhancing the integration with the landscape. This design emphasizes the visual continuity between the interior and exterior, with large glass surfaces allowing natural light and panoramic views to flow freely throughout the house.

The result is a residence that sits harmoniously within the topography, offering an immersive visual experience of the surrounding nature.
